Ingredients

0.5 yellow/white onion

1 garlic clove

0.5 red bell pepper

3.53 oz (100 g) mushrooms

7.94 oz (225 g) pork tenderloin

0.44 oz (12.5 g) butter

1.5 tablespoon flour

1 teaspoon paprika

1.5 teaspoon tomato purée

3.53 oz (100 g) diced tomato, canned

0.42 cups (1 dl) water

0.5 vegetable bouillon cube

0.21 cups (0.5 dl) milk

0.21 cups (0.5 dl) cooking cream

salt/pepper

Mashed Potatoes

1.65 lb (750 g) potatoes

0.88 oz (25 g) butter

0.63 (1.5 dl) milk

Salt

Directions

Mashed Potatoes

  1. Peel potatoes. You can use a peeler or a KUMA Paring Knife for this. Then slice them into smaller pieces to reduce boiling time.
  2. Put potatoes in a bowl and pour in just enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and then turn down to low-medium heat.
  3. Boil until soft. It takes about 20-25 minutes.
  4. When soft, drain water from pot. Let potatoes cool off a bit.
  5. In a bowl mix potatoes, butter, milk, and salt. Use a hand mixer to blend until you get a smooth and creamy consistency. Add more milk if you want it lighter and more fluffy. Finally, taste with salt.

One-Pot Paprika Tenderloin:

  1. Make your bouillon water by dissolving bouillon cube into boiling water. Put aside.
  2. Place garlic between between cutting board and side of your KUMA Chef’s Knife (or KUMA Santoku) and give it a smash. This makes it easy to peel. Then slice garlic to fine pieces.
  3. Peel onion and wash bell pepper. Cut them both into thin strips.
  4. Clean mushrooms and cut into thin slices.
  5. Clean / trim tenderloin for any parts you don’t want and then slice into cubes.
  6. Heat up a pan with butter.
  7. Add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Let it sauté for a few minutes. Then remove and put into a separate bowl.
  8. Put the pot back onto the heat and add more butter. Then add tenderloin, salt, and pepper. Cook until meat gets color on all sides and then remove it from the pot into that same separate bowl.
  9. Add some more butter to the pot. Add mushrooms and sauté so some of the liquid vaporizes and they soften a bit. Then remove them into that same separate bowl.
  10. Put the pot back on the heat with more butter. When it has melted, add flour and then whisk thoroughly so you get a “butter ball”.
  11. Add the bouillon water from earlier, diced tomatoes, milk, cream, paprika, tomato purée, salt, and pepper.
  12. Bring it to a boil so the sauce thickens.
  13. Now add your entire bowl of sautéd onion, garlic, mushroom, bell pepper, and tenderloin.
  14. Stir well so everything gets mixed.
  15. Taste with salt/pepper and let it simmer while the mashed potatoes finishes if they aren’t already done.
  16. Serve in a bowl with mashed potatoes topped with one-pot paprika tenderloin.

Recipe for one-pot paprika

Here you get the recipe for the most delicious and easy one-pot paprika with pork tenderloin pieces, mushrooms, and bell pepper. The paprika sauce is made with butter, tomato, milk, and cream. It is by far one of the best tenderloin one-pot recipes you can make. If you prefer something other than mashed potatoes, whole potatoes or boiled rice are also great for this one-pot paprika.

You can serve your one pot tenderloin paprika as a weekday dinner but it is also really good when you have guests over. Great food for when you have company coming! You can serve it with a delicious Italian salad on the side and maybe some garlic bread. Then you’ve got yourself a full blown and fancy menu.

Paprika One Pot with tenderloin

We have used pork tenderloin for our paprika one-pot in this recipe. You can also use beef tenderloin if you prefer. Even chicken breast goes great in it. Or you can go vegetarian and don’t add any meat as this one-pot paprika packs a lot of flavor and texture already as it is.

Can I make the one pot paprika ahead of time?

If you are having company over then you can definitely make your one-pot paprika tenderloin ahead of time. Then all you will have to do is just to re-heat the pot on the stove. However with the mashed potatoes we do recommend serving them immediately when they’re done, but if you prepare your one-pot paprika ahead of time, then the mashed potatoes will just be a quick trip to the kitchen once you and your guests are ready to eat!
