Refund policy
We are a family run business and your satisfaction is our priority. If you don't absolutely love your KUMA products then we want to make it right. That's why we happily offer a 30 day refund policy. The expected handling time for your return order will be handled within 5 working days after we have received your returned product.
We know shopping online can be difficult and we are in the business of making it easier. Simply send us your proof of purchase when you notify us of your return. Once we have approved your return, send back the purchased goods and we will refund your order. If you received free shipping on your order, this means we have paid the shipping expense. In those cases, the shipping costs we've covered with sending your order will be deducted from your refund amount.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
The following types of goods are exempt from being returned:
- Gift cards
- All items in our KUMA Merch category (cups, mugs, bottles, aprons, coasters, and bento box utensils)
To approve your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. After we have approved your return, please send back your purchase directly to us before a refund can be issued.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. We will make this transaction to you within 5 days from the date we have received your returned product.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your purchased item for the same item, send us an email at info@kumaknives.com with an explanation and photo proof of your defect product. If we approve the exchange, send your item to us and for our inspection. If your exchange is approved, your replacement item will be shipped back to you within 5 days from the date we have received your defect product.
Shipping address
To return or exchange your product, ship it to our following business address: Islands Brygge 30B 1,1 - 2300, Copenhagen - Denmark.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund in cases where we cover the shipping cost upfront.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item worth over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. If your returned item or item for exchange is lost during shipping, we cannot be held responsible and we will not be covering your loss.
