3-Ingredient Tenderloin with Bacon Wrap & Garlic Cheese Filling Recipe

Prep time: 20 minutes — Cook time: 35 minutes — Total time: 55 minutes — Serving: 2 people

Description

Amazing and simple 3-ingredient, 7-step recipe for stuffed pork tenderloin with bacon wrap and garlic cream cheese filling. This is the perfect dinner when you want to make something a bit more fancy - either for yourselves or even if you have company over for dinner. If you are cooking for more people, it’s a very scalable recipe as you can cook multiple tenderloins in the oven at the same time. Easy-peasy!

Ingredients

14.11 oz (400 g) pork tenderloin

2.65 oz (75 g) garlic cream cheese

2.29 oz (65 g) bacon strips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 355 F (180 C).
  2. Trim tenderloin from tissue or any other parts you don’t want to eat using your favorite sharp KUMA knife.
  3. Slice the tenderloin up in the middle from one end to the other across the long side. Don’t cut all the way through as we want to close it again.
  4. Fill the crack (I should have said crevice but this is more fun) with garlic cream cheese from top to bottom.
  5. Close it again so the garlic cheese is trapped inside and then wrap the entire tenderloin in bacon strips.
  6. Place it in the oven for 30-35 minutes in an oven-safe casserole.
  7. Serve your tenderloin with your side dish of choice. We have some suggestions below.

Stuffed pork tenderloin with garlic cream cheese stuffing is the perfect way to make a fancy and delicious dinner that is both easy and budget-friendly. Just how we like it! Pork tenderloin is great because it is cheap meat that is full of flavor and is always tender when cooked right. We almost always make it with some sort of filling to add even more flavor and consistency, but also to make it more juicy. You can make it in the oven or on the grill for some added smoked flavor which certainly doesn’t hurt.

Can I stuff pork tenderloin?

We almost always stuff our pork tenderloin. It is very easy to do when you have a razor sharp knife from KUMA. The entire trick is to cut a smooth and clean crevice from one end to the other, and to cut it deep but not all the way through. When you’ve achieved this you can fill it with almost any stuffing you’d like. We’ve used garlic cream cheese in this recipe, but we also love using feta cheese and pesto. We also made another amazing recipe called Sun Dried Tomato & Feta Stuffed Tenderloin.

We almost always wrap our stuffed tenderloins with either bacon or Serrano ham. It adds more flavor and helps keep the stuffing inside. The perfect wrapper!

What are some good side dish ideas for tenderloin?

A juicy stuffed tenderloin like this needs some sort of side dish to balance things out. A good salad is a great fit but you could also go with some potatoes. You can search our website for “salad” or “potatoes”, for example. Some side dishes we usually like to make are our Tomato & Mozzarella Salad, our Pasta Salad with Homemade Pesto & Sun Dried Tomatoes, or the always amazing Creamy Scalloped Potatoes.
